Warrior II

 Last month I challenged my friend Palang to a "3 in 1". 3 workouts in 1 week, that is. I have to admit, while she's been working our for a few weeks now, I sorta kinda procrastinated a bit. My first actual workout was today. It was "Yoga Meltdown" with Jillian Michaels, the hard hitting trainer from NBC's hit show "The Biggest Loser". She's a beast. And I mean that with the utmost respect and admiration. She goes hard! And has the body to prove it.

I've been interested in trying out a yoga workout for a while now. Glad I finally did. Just like any workout, it's no walk in the park. I can feel definitely feel the burn, but I'm liking it so far.

The poses seem relatively simple, but the balance and strength you need to hit them and hold them for extended periods of time, shouldn't be underestimated. My poses are nowhere near as graceful and disciplined as the instructors, but I do hope that by the time I reach Level 2 of the DVD, I'll feel a little more comfortable with them.




Also, don't forget the mat. I purchased mine at WalMart.
