Last week, a couple of friends and I went to >>Soho South Cafe where food is art<< in downtown Savannah for lunch. It's such a keen little ditty decorated with book shelves filled with books and paintings and chandeliers and almost any other piece of art deco you can think of. I especially liked that each table was its own coordinating set not matching the one next to it. The little touches like that really made it unique.

They're open from 11am-4pm on Monday- Saturday for lunch and 11am-4pm on Sunday for brunch. Will I ever go back? Um.. I dunno. There are sooo many little boutique style restaurants here and I really want to try as many of them as possible. Once I hit them all, I may circle back around for seconds. But it is definitely one that I would recommend. Especially to tourist.

Kingston slept right through lunch.

The dish they are most famous for is the Low Country Crake Cake. Of course I had to order it. Mm. Taaaa-sty!! Once this dish came out, there was no more room for picture taking. Ha!

Let me know what you think! But please be nice. Being negative is just no fun. K?
