As I mentioned in this post, one of the things I really want to do this year is get back into reading. For pleasure. I want to read at least 10 fiction novels this year. Roughly a book a month. For entertainment and to help get the creative juices flowing for the novel I'm planning to write and publish this year.

The first book I'm reading is "This Present Darkness" by Frank E. Peretti. The homey, Audrey lent it to me, suggesting that it would be a good book for me to read. Technically, it's not the first book of the year as I started it last year. Picking it up and putting it back down a number of times, before I could finally actually read it, read it. Because of the content of the book, I think you have to be in the right mind space, mentally and spiritually, to read it and get it. I'm about half way through now. I shall come back later to let you know my thoughts on it once I'm done.

Let me know what you think! But please be nice. Being negative is just no fun. K?
